Black Label Smith's Vineyard Chardonnay

Fighting Gully Road Black Label Smith's Vineyard Chardonnay is hand harvested from modern Beechworth's oldest vineyard, planted in 1978 at the outskirts of the region.

Fruit from the Smith's Vineyard is fermented in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels. Partial malolactic fermentation and 18 months maturation follow. The wine then develops in bottle for about a year before release.

Pale straw, Fighting Gully Road Black Label Smith's Vineyard Chardonnay has stone fruit flavours with delicate acidity and oak complexity. Cellaring potential is five years.
